Nominator's project description
| Professor Di Ventra is a world-renowned expert in condensed matter physics, nanoscience and unconventional computing. He has made numerous important and lasting contributions to these fields, including the concept of MemComputing. He also spearheaded the study of memory effects with great potential in nanotechnology, materials science and novel memory devices. During his stay in Germany, he will work on novel aspects of sensing and quantum transport as well as on the MemComputing paradigm of computation. |
